A lucky Frenchman won 200 million euros from the EuroMillions lottery in December 2020. The man, who has not been identified publicly, donated most of the money to an environmental foundation. He also created a foundation named Anyama in honour of the Ivory Coast city. The lottery winner shared an open letter about the prize on his foundation’s website. He vowed to make sure the money he won goes to environmental projects.
Multi-Jurisdictional Lottery
A multi-jurisdictional lottery is a type of lotto that has a multi-jurisdictional jackpot. The amount of the jackpot may be the same in all jurisdictions, or it may be different in each jurisdiction. In such a case, the winning player may be selected by a master controller, who then determines whether a prize winner qualifies for the jackpot. Once the jackpot has been reached, a new game may commence.
